"Interwoven" is inspired by our shift into a more technologically-driven world, and how self-expression through clothes and craft can be used to both escape and embrace these changes. To create the collection, I blended a wide variety of handicraft practices (dyeing, batik, hand-carding fibers, spinning yarn, & weaving) with computer-aided designs. I also explored the intersection of the virtual and the natural through a color palette that features synthetic, digital brights alongside earthy mid-tones. My designs embody the harmonious blend of traditional and modernity: the interconnectedness between artisanal authenticity and technological precision.
