Inspiration
This collection, created during my semester abroad at Heriot-Watt University, is a fairytale interpretation of Scotland’s architecture and traditional textiles.
Process
These textiles began as painted sketches and were then woven on historic 16-shaft dobby looms.
I used wool yarns and painted both warp and weft with custom-mixed acid dyes.
